FINE weather has marked the start of the 2008 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show which started at the Mandurah Ocean Marina on Thursday morning.
The show is open daily from 9am and will close on Sunday at 5pm.
Murray-Wellington MLA Murray Cowper officially opened the show at a special luncheon for guests, including a Chinese delegation on Thursday.
Fine weather is expected for much of the show weekend and organisers are hoping this will help them attract more than 25,000 people.
The show is renowned for its world class displays, where visitors can check out anything from $7 million luxury cruisers, to yachts, sports fishing boats, trailerboats and dinghies.

Australia, the show also offers a range of boating accessories as well as fishing, camping and diving gear.
The on-water display area features the luxurious vessels including one of the largest Sunseeker displays ever shown in Australia, as well as Bertram, Riviera, Princess, Searay, Boston Whaler and Caribbean just to name a few - plus Grandbanks and Bella Marine for the first time ever at the Mandurah Show,
The hardstand area has a biggest display of Quintrex boats ever seen in an Australian show along with a great range of new trailerable boats, inflatables, car-toppers and jet skis.
While fishing enthusiasts can look forward to the new Ultimate Fishing Camp hosted by some of the best fishing personalities around Australia, the whole family can enjoy live music, fashion parades, cooking demonstrations and pirate shows.
The new Perth to Mandurah rail-line makes the trip from Perth city even faster with shuttle buses running from Mandurah station directly to the show.
The new helicopter shuttle service from Fremantle and Perth airport to the show is sure to prove popular with perspective boat buyers and families alike.
