A MANDURAH man who pleaded guilty in the Mandurah Magistrates Court after leading police on a chase through the streets of central Mandurah on September 15 was fined $2000 when he appeared again on Tuesday.

Gary McDonald, 23, was said to be living a more stable lifestyle since the incident which saw him ride an unregistered motorbike with no helmet, no licence and with alcohol in his blood in a dangerous manner while being pursued by police.

Magistrate Terence McIntyre told McDonald it was about time he grew up.

The court heard McDonald owed more than $10,000 in outstanding fines and Magistrate McIntyre warned him not to re-offend or he could face a prison sentence.
